Organising tests

Duplicate, archive and delete

Reuse a test, or tidy away tests you are finished with.

Duplicate a test

Make a copy when you want to use a test again, for example with a new class.

Open the duplication

Select Duplicate test at the bottom of the Settings section on the test's page.

Choose what to include

Give the copy a name, and choose:

  • Keep content: the tasks come along (on by default).
  • Keep pupils: the same pupils, with their own schedule and spell check from their accommodations.
  • Keep teachers: the same teachers.

Duplicate

Select Duplicate. You land on the copy.

The copy is not published. The time window, anonymous grading, spell check, grading scale and access to the submission come along. Secure browser, allowed apps and bookmarks do not, so check the settings before you publish the copy.

Archive a test

Archive tests you are finished with, so they do not sit in the list. The submissions are kept.

Select Archive in the Archive test section and confirm. The test is hidden from the list and cannot be changed, not even the grading. Pupils only find it under Show archived, marked Archived.

To find the test again, turn on Show archived in the list. Select Restore in the Restore test section to be able to change it again.

Delete a test

Select Delete in the Delete test section and confirm.

Cannot be undone

The test and all its submissions are deleted for good. If you only want to tidy up, use Archive instead.
