Preview the test
See and try the test as pupils will see it.
In the preview you see the test as pupils see it, and you can answer the tasks to check that everything works.
Open the preview
- In the editor: select the eye (Preview). What you have done is saved first.
- On the test's page: select Preview in the Content section, or in the Task section if it is a writing test.
At the top it says Preview mode, so you know you are not in the real test. The back button takes you to the editor, or to the test's page if it is a writing test.
What you can test
- Whether the tasks look right. The preview does not show whether the answers are correct, so check the answer key when you edit the tasks.
- Whether the pages are split correctly if Sections as pages is turned on.
- Whether the points are shown when Show points is turned on.
- The spell check, if it is turned on.
- The submission: you must tick both boxes before you can select Hand in, just like pupils.
The answers you give in the preview are not saved, and nothing is submitted. When you select Hand in, you return to the same place.
