Let pupils bring notes

Let pupils write their own notes before the test and read them during the test.

With Pupils' notes, pupils write their own notes before the test, and during the test they can read them. You can also let them add PDF or Word files.

Turn on pupils' notes

Open the settings

Go to Settings on the test's page and select Edit.

Turn on Pupils' notes

Turn on Pupils' notes under During the test. Also turn on PDF and Word files if pupils should be able to add files.

Save

Select Save. Pupils now see Your notes when they open the test under Assigned tests.

What pupils can bring

  • One or more text notes. All of a pupil's notes together can have 10,000 characters.
  • Up to three PDF or Word files, if you have turned on PDF and Word files.

When the notes lock

The notes lock when the test opens for the pupil. After that the pupil can read the notes, but not change them. If the pupil has an Own schedule, the notes lock when the test opens for that pupil.

Adjust for one pupil

Select Adjust for this pupil next to the pupil under Pupils, and choose Pupils' notes: Same as the test, Off, Text or Text and files.
